![]() | Experimental Verification Of Characteristics Of Attractive Force Of Linear Induction Motor By Power Source Including High Frequency Component
By Kohsuke Yamamoto, Toshimitsu Morizane, Noriyuki Kimura, Katsunori Taniguchi
Abstract: We propose a novel maglev system without levitation
magnets. This carrier is levitated by using the attractive force of
Linear Induction Motor. Then, we propose to use power source
including high frequency component to control both traction
and levitation. In levitation, the low frequency component
controls the force to suspend the bogie and the high frequency
component controls the force to keep the required air gap. We
verified that the attractive force can be controlled by two
frequency components independently by experiment.

![]() | Optimal Trajectory Generation For A Modular Planar Motor Used In Flexible Manufacturing Systems
By L. Szabo, I. A. Viorel, J. B. Dobai, I. E. Szepi
Abstract: Modular planar motors can be used in flexible
manufacturing systems due to their high forces and accurate
positioning capabilities. The desired efficiency of the
manufacturing process can be achieved only when the
displacements are precisely performed upon a well-planned
imposed trajectory. In this paper different trajectory generation
possibilities are studied by means of simulation.

![]() | Problems Of Investigation And Development Of Mechatronic Systems With Linear Induction Motors
By Roma Rinkeviciene, Algimantas Poska, Algirdas Smilgevicius
Abstract: A theory and development of mechatronic systems
with linear induction motors is presented. Method of
investigation of LIM operating characteristics corresponding to
unquestioning and technically real combination of control and
constructive as sets is developed. Dynamic breaking mode is
analyzed, the main relationships are derived. A mathematic
model in fixed reference frame to investigate dynamic
characteristics of linear electric drive is developed. Mechatronic
systems with linear induction motors were created and
implemented.
