 Abstract   We propose a novel maglev system without levitation magnets. This carrier is levitated by using the attractive force of Linear Induction Motor. Then, we propose to use power source including high frequency component to control both traction and levitation. In levitation, the low frequency component controls the force to suspend the bogie and the high frequency component controls the force to keep the required air gap. We verified that the attractive force can be controlled by two frequency components independently by experiment.
