Guidelines for the preparation of a paper for publication in the EPE journal
A. Submitting a paper, for evaluation, to EPE
A.1. Writing the paper
The paper will be written in English.
The title will be chosen short and expressive. It will be followed by the
authors' names, title, function and address and by keywords.
The paper will start with an abstract that will explain the main contribution of the paper, give the state of the art, and show the originality of the described solutions. The abstract will be 150 to 200 words long.
A.2. Sending the paper
The papers will be submitted by e-mail (pdf format only - anonymous copy) including a document with all coordinates. One paper copy will be sent as well, including full coordinates. E-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org.

B. When the paper is accepted
Authors will improve their paper according to the indication given by the reviewers. A final language check by a native speaker is highly recommended.
The end of the paper will include a list of references and the authors' curricula and photographs.
Texts are sent by e-mail or on CD-ROM with indication of the format and a paper
The text will be typewritten without page set-up (no columns, no styles).
Paragraphs are separated by a line space.
Titles are in bold with level indication: size or number. They finish without a period (.).
Figure captions will be included in the text and will be of the kind:

Figures can be included in the general file.

- RTF - Rich Text Format (extension: .rtf)
- Xpress 6.5 and previous
- InDesign CS3 and previous
- Excel 2008 and previous (extension: .xls)
- MS-DOS Text (extension: .txt)
- Powerpoint 2008 and previous (extension: .ppt, .ppts)
- Compressed files (extensions: .sit, .zip, .bin, .hqx, .exe, .rar)
- Windows Metafile (extension: .mtf)
- Illustrator (extension: .ai)
- DCS 2
- PDF high resolution
These files can be Macintosh or PC. In case none of the image files can
apply, a good laser print out or photograph will allow a good quality
scanning of the image.
EPE Journal is published quarterly. Submitted papers undergo a reviewing process of about 6 months. Final papers are published on the first received first published basis.
