   Fields Radiation of an Elementary Power Electronic Converter

Abstract: This paper deals with the study of the electromagnetic fields due to an elementary power converter loop. The goal is to calculate field strength and its effects on a receiver loop placed in the near environment of the converter. the authors present electromagnetic equations and different simplifications. The assumptions allow a faster evaluation of the induced voltage created into the receiver loop. This computing method is then compared to the exact field calculus and the limits of the simplifications are presented.
