Abstract: An energy management systems (EMS) such as building energy management systems (BEMS)and home energy management systems (HEMS) are widely used to reduce energy resources. Thispaper proposes an EMS that regulates the distribution voltage for energy efficiency withinthe consumer. The concept of the proposed EMS is as follows: the power distribution systemregulates a distribution voltage to minimize the total loss by considering the operating conditionsof various electrical devices installed in the customer's building. The effectiveness of theproposed method is validated by simulations and experiments using a prototype model.
