Abstract: The design and experimental results of a series resonance high-voltage power supply for a dielectric barrier reactor for cleaning of Diesel exhaust gas are presented. The output voltage consists of bursts of 50-100kHz sine waves with maximum amplitude of 25kV, a duty ratio of 0.2 and a repetition rate of 1-6 kHz. The principle of operation principle is based on a full bridge converter with high voltage transformer that is operated in resonance with the load. Special attention is given to the transformer design and to the behavior of the converter in conjunction with the reactor.
