Abstract |
The design of a multiphase DC/DC power converter with bounded switching frequency based on the sliding mode control concept is proposed whose main goal is the suppression of chattering. In the framework of this approach: the width of hysteresis loops of switching elements are selected such that oscillation frequency is the same in all phases; the switching command in each phase is chosen as a function of error signals from different phases where these functions are selected to have the best "harmonic cancellation"; and for any range of duty cycles the number of phases can be selected so that the amplitude of chattering is maintained at the desired level. |
