 Abstract   A new Full-Energy Injector for the Storage Ring of the Elettra Synchrotron Light Laboratory is under construction. High precision and reproducibility power converters will be used to supply its magnets. The excitation current waveform is a DC biased sine wave at ~3 Hz that all booster power converter have to follow synchronously. Key features are modular design comprising N 1 redundancy and energy recovery capabilities. A fully digital control has been adopted for the regulation and the PWM generation for the IGBTs. At the time of the presentation of this article, the power converters are in the final factory test phase and therefore only preliminary results on dummy loads will be reported.
