Abstract |
The paper presents an application of direct
current control (DCC) method in a three-phase parallel
active power filter. The power filter is employed to
compensate fundamental reactive power and harmonic
distortion of non-linear loads and due to its inverter-like
topology with known parameters in filter branch, the
predictive DCC method was implemented to reduce the
filter’s commutation frequency. Consequently, the filter
branch losses are decreased. Experimental setup based on a
TMS320F2407A DSP was used to confirm the theoretical
expectations. |
