Abstract |
An investigation of current state of the art in rotor field oriented control of induction machines is conducted. Different kinds of flux observers are analyzed with respect to parameter sensitivity and general performance. The evaluation is done by use of modern control theory and by testing in both a simulation model and in experiments. The potential of using different kinds of modern control strategies, like adaptive or sliding mode flux observers, are evaluated. The modern algorithms are all compared to standard methods. |
