Abstract |
This paper compares different slot and pole
combinations of a fractional slot permanent magnet machine,
which has a fixed air-gap diameter and a 45 kW@400rpm output
power. The performance analysis is done for machines having
concentrated winding, where the coil is wound around one tooth
and the number of slots per pole and per phase is equal to 0.4.
Finite element analysis (by Cedrat’s Flux2D) and analytical
equations are used in calculations. |
