| Abstract |
This paper describes how to design a linear piezoelectric motor based on Lamb’s wave propagation along
a metal rod of finite length. The Lamb’s wave is generated by controlling the oscillations of multi-layer-array
amplified piezoelectric actuators supplied by half bridge PWM amplifiers. This motor can be used as a demonstrator
in a laboratory on piezoelectric motor principles. |
