Abstract |
In this paper the line side harmonic distortion of three-phase
low voltage adjustable speed drives (ASD’s), in the range of
a few kW to some hundreds kW, and the harmonic
reduction techniques dominating the ASD market are
presented. The most significant advantages and
disadvantages of these techniques are discussed and a costbenefit
analysis is made. Finally some example calculations
are made on a real application. |
