| Abstract |
This paper presents the results of a project to further
develop the Current Source PWM-Converter (CSC)
technique. The object of this paper is to investigate the
characteristic features of CSC with variable dc-link current
in permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM)
application. The function of the proposed concept is
examined with a prototype that includes two independently
controlled PWM-bridges. The magnitude of the dc-link
current is controlled depending on the load conditions to
improve the overall efficiency of the converter. |
