Abstract |
The fundamental limitations to system performance caused by anomalies of the process are discussed in the paper. The example case of a boost topology, which has a right half plane (RHP) zero, is used to demonstrate that there is an upper bound of the bandwith caused by the zero. The claim that in peak-current mode control the effect of a RHP zero to system performance would somehow "disappear" is shown to be incorrect. |
