| Abstract |
This paper presents simulation and experimental results of a three-phase voltage source shunt active power filter (APF). The performance of the system is examined with two different filter inductances and dc-link voltages. The control system is kept simple enough to make it effective to implement with a single-chip microcontroller. The dc-link voltage is controlled with a non-linear Pe2-controller, which applies effectively to the voltage control of the APF. The control system is implemented in a synchronous reference frame, where the harmonics of load current can easily extracted using high-pass filtering. The system is studied through computer simulations and measurements with a prototype of the APF. |
