| Abstract |
The power grid (power plants, transmission network, power stations, etc.) is successfully controlled
for a number of years using the same principles. However, rapid development of distributed generation
causes a number of new problems which will have to be handled. This paper presents the main task in
grid control, classifies and describes negative aspects of distributed generation presence and shows
necessary changes in grid control strategy. Additional costs that arise because of that are also
evaluated. |
