 Abstract   This paper presents the approach based on prof. Antoni Szumanowski method of determining electromotive force (EMF) and battery internal resistance as a function of state of charge (SOC). The model is based on the discharge characteristics under different constant discharge current tested by experiment in CLAiO. The accuracy of the model in battery operating range for HEV application is higher than 97% (lacking 3% is a difference between experimental and computed values)
