| Abstract |
This paper is devoted to the colour image segmentation and enhancement using a cylindrical color space. First some basics of color image processing are presented. The new cylindrical color representation called LSH is then proposed. Also a colour space metric consistent with human being perception is derived. There are in this article some natural scene image segmentation and enhancement application examples using the LSH space. |
