| Abstract |
Hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) is one of remarkable
solutions for world wide environmental and energy problem
caused by automobiles. The research and development of various
technologies in HEV are being actively conducted in the world.
Series hybrid bus is a good solution for decreasing downtown air
pollution. This paper presents two different control strategies of
series hybrid bus and battery parameters adjustment by
simulation. The paper compares fuel consumption of series hybrid
bus with conventional bus. The fuel consumption of series hybrid
bus before and after adjusting battery parameters and engine
operating points are also compared. |
