| Abstract |
This equipment described in this paper may be implemented on all electric locomotives, to which the traction motors voltage adjustment is done by a tap-changer, by replacing the associated driving DC motor with an AC asynchronous motor supplied from a static converter. This equipment is controlled by a DSP and may be integrated into a complex system for the locomotive control. |
