| Abstract |
This paper presents results of investigation of dual
inverter-fed open-end winding drive systems, controlled in
accordance with rules and algorithms of novel methodology of
synchronised space-vector modulation. Both continuous and
discontinuous versions of synchronised pulsewidth modulation
have been analyzed and compared with application to these
systems. The proposed algorithms of synchronised PWM provide
quarter-wave symmetry of actual motor phase voltage, and its
spectra do not contain even harmonics and sub-harmonics
(combined harmonics), which is especially important for the
systems with increased power rate. Simulations give the behavior
of the proposed methods and techniques of synchronised PWM,
applied to open-end winding motor drives. |
