| Abstract |
In this article the significant key quantities
regarding harmonic generation on the AC as well as on the DC
side of voltage and current source converters (VSC, CSC) are
derived. Thereby generic equalities are elaborated. This work is
considered a general remedy to the question of harmonic
performance of a VSC compared to a CSC apart from the usual
concerns such as semiconductor losses, installed semiconductor
power or energy storage components lifetime. |
