Abstract |
In this paper a Neural Network based approach is designed to improve efficiency in a vector control induction motor drive. The neural network let estimate the optimum rotor flux in order to minimize induction motor power losses. Inputs to the neural network are stator current and rotor speed. The network has been trained using a loss model of the motor, including magnetic deviations of parameters. Analysis, modeling and simulation results are presented to demonstrate the validity of the proposed method. |
