| Abstract |
Power electronics laboratory for 4th year masters students has been combined with digital voltage regulator design. This has been done to let the students get practical experience with the interactions between hardware and software. Relational and instrumental understandings are compared as methods of introducing the lab. A questionnaire surprisingly shows least learning effect for relational understanding, probably because it pulled focus away from inductive teaching which is important for student motivation. |
