Abstract |
CERN’s next generation particle accelerator, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) requires accurate current measurement up to 13kA to enable current tracking between individual power converters. DC Current Transducers (DCCTs) have been developed to allow in-situ calibrations to 10‾6 uncertainty. This paper describes the principle, design and initial evaluations. |
