Abstract |
This paper reports the measurement results that can be obtained when applying
a new interpretation of the electrodynamic behavior of permanent magnet synchronous
machines (PMSM) to the measured data. A constant alternating current source and a resistor
network, in conjunction with a certain step-by-step measuring procedure [4] are used to
obtain the machine's magnetizing d- and q- reactances, taking into account all saturation and
cross-saturation eects. Finally, this allows for very exact prediction of the produced torque
for any operating state. |
