Abstract |
A speed observer for induction machines without rotational transducers is presented. In contrast to
known adaptive observer strategies, the proposed scheme uses the conventional current difference and
a new stretch-twist operator to avoid the known instability region and to obtain a constant gain
additionally. Furthermore a parasitic dc-component elimination is presented to ensure operation with
very low stator frequencies. Characteristics are explained and verified by measurements. |
