Abstract |
Space mapping is introduced as a tool for quickly determining the steady state of
cyclically-switched converters. This new tool has the advantage that, next to calculating the steady
state of circuits that are exactly defined, it can also calculate the steady state of circuits that are not
exactly known, based upon measurements on these circuits. Its convergence speed is compared to that
of an existing Newton based equivalent by applying both on an example. Because of limitations in the
Newton based method a simplified version of the space mapping algorithm is sufficient here.
However the comparison leads to some promising results. |
