Variable output bidirectional Cuk DC-DC converter

| Abstract |
A bidirectional Ćuk converter with output voltage tracking capabilities was designed with a 110 Hz reference-to-output compensation signal. The converter is intended for use with piezoceramic actuators. This converter has smaller voltage stresses than a flyback converter for similar applications. Its high order makes it difficult to design a suitable controller. In the paper, a linear controller was designed in the frequency domain and implemented. Possibility of an application of an H∞ controller was successfully explored by means of simulation. |
