Abstract |
In this paper, a new current-mode control method is applied to a non-resonant, quasisquare
wave inverter used to supply HID Lamps at high frequency. With this control method, both
current stabilisation and low power high frequency harmonics are obtained. With current stabilisation,
no intermediate stages are needed between the inverter and the DC source; with low power harmonics,
decreases the risk of appearing of acoustic resonances. The proposed circuit is specially suitable for the future automotive 42 DC voltage. |
