| Abstract |
The possibility of frequency-controlled drive (FCD)
application in hoisting gears is considered with taking example by a
gantry container crane and an elevator. The results of energy
consumption and power losses calculations for conventional drives
and FCD are given. High efficiency of FCD is shown. |
