Abstract |
This paper presents a new technique for the energy
saving control of three-phase induction motor fed by voltage
controller based on the concept of instantaneous power theory.
The realization technique that optimizes the flux level to improve
the efficiency and power-factor of the induction motor is
discussed. This technique, called instantaneous power control
(IPC), allows decoupled control of real and imaginary
instantaneous powers and also their components in the motor. It
contains very easy and short mathematical operations to
calculate power components, power-factor and has a basic
control algorithm. In this study; control algorithm of proposed
method, circuit diagram and mathematical dynamic model of the
motor that includes iron losses, experimental and simulation
results are presented. |
