Abstract |
This paper is about a design methodology to reduce
the complexity in the development process of switched mode
power supplies with digital signal processors. It is based on
automatic processes to dimension the components of the power
circuit and also on a unified hardware environment for the
control. The methodology is exemplarily realized for a 150 Watt
forward converter with an active clamp circuit. The design of
the test hardware was realized after the analytical calculation
and simulation, by using a secondary sided digital signal
processor (DSP). Finally, practical measurements were. Zero
voltage switching is required to reduce the switching losses at a
pulse frequency of 100 kHz. |
