Abstract |
The improvements in the schemes for sensorless
vector control has been a challenge for researchers and several
approaches have been considered. Two big trends can be
considered: field oriented control (FOC) and direct torque
control (DTC), with inherent advantages and disadvantages.
Among the former trend, indirect rotor type (IRFOC) is one of
the most popular techniques, whose main weaknesses are the
low speed performance and the parameter dependence. In the
present work, a novel scheme for the control is presented that
considers static friction and takes into account parameter
detuning due to motor heating and skin effect (deep/bar effect).
An over-current protection is also considered using a nonconservative
criterion that allows transient currents above the
rated value. |
