Abstract |
This paper presents a survey of specific power
converters in the context of the existing electrical machines. All
methods of an electromechanical power converter (EMC)
braking are based on using generator driven by the energy of a
magnetic field under specific conditions. For non-stationary
braking transitional processes and dynamic characteristics of
converters are typical.
The studies mainly refer to stationary braking, considering that
the speed of the rotor . const v = Non-stationary processes are
accompanied by transitional processes when converters acquire
the dynamic characteristics. Their analysis and the development
of new methods and models of description are an acute
research and technical problem. One of the major objectives of
the present investigation is developing a generalising
mathematical model of braking processes, finding major
equations and relationships, calculating the magnetic fields
and determining spectral characteristics of converters. |
