Abstract |
This paper presents an electromagnetic and motion
coupled transient analysis method for a switched reluctance
(SR) motor. First, we prepare a reluctance network analysis
model of a 6/4-pole SR motor considering both magnetic
saturation and leakage fluxes. Next, the proposed model is
combined with its drive circuit, and with motion-calculation
blocks on SPICE which is one of the general purpose circuit
simulators. Using the proposed method, we can calculate
dynamic characteristics of a SR motor quickly and accuracy. |
