Abstract |
A new approach to switched reluctance motors
(SRM) optimal design based on simple relations between
mechanical, magnetic and electric variables obtained by using
elementary physical consideration of SRM behavior is
presented. The obtained results of the simplified SRM design
are the subject to be compared with parameters and
characteristics of realized SRM samples. Obtained correction
coefficients are used as an important element in the proposed
SRM design procedure. A sensorless SRD control for electric
bicycle is presented. The control system is based on 8–bit
Motorola MC68HC908MR32 microcontroller realizing the
method of indirect measuring of flux linkage. The hardware
realization of current regulator provides effective phase current
limitation at low speeds. Its operation is taken into account in
sensorless control algorithm. |
