Abstract |
A novel technique for harmonics estimation is
considered, which is based on a modeling and identification
method. The technique is designed using a mathematical model
describing the signal harmonics and an identification hybrid
genetic algorithm (GA) technique. This latter is used to estimate
the parameters of each harmonic, which consist of the
frequency, magnitude and phase-angle, of a uniformly sampled
signal or data. The technique is tested using a computersimulated
and experimentally obtained data record. The results
are compared to those obtained by the conventional nonparametric
spectral-analysis method which use the Discrete
Fourier Transform DFT (FFT methods). The proposed method
is general enough for any signal. In this paper we describe its
application to the analysis of an ac controller signal . |
