Abstract |
This article presents a measurement sampler and
PWM modulator integrated within the same unit. This solution
makes possible the use of timing data from the PWM to facilitate
the control of the analog to digital (AD) converters and to avoid
the current transients that occur during commutation of the
power converter. It makes possible to have exact measurement
of the derivatives of the currents. This relieves the DSPprocessor
of processing load. The DSP can then be set to do
other time consuming tasks. This sampler and modulator are set
up in a FPGA device with six AD converters in parallel.
Practical tests are included in the paper. |
