| Abstract |
For the determination of the electrical properties of
magnetic coils used in power electronics applications, it is
necessary to make loss measurements and often acquire
hysteresis loops under clearly sinusoidal voltage excitation
conditions. The operation of a current fed resonant converter
used for this purpose is analyzed in details and its control circuit
is presented. The factors that limit its performance are
investigated in order to achieve a future, improved design. |
