Accurate Power Electronics Current Source For Magnetotherapy

Abstract |
In the article a proposition of wide-band, quasi-linear power electronics current source is considered. The current source was designed as a part of Magnetic Field Generation Systems for magnetotherapy equipment. The control module utilises microcomputer on basis of both floating point digital signal processor (Analog Devices, 3rd generation SHARC Family ADSP-21262S) and DSP based controller for power electronics applications. The reciver in form of Helmholtz Coils pair have been applied. The basic control algorithms, simulation results as well as laboratory model of current source is described too. |
