| Abstract |
In this paper a new PWM technique for commutation
control of CD-CA static converters is presented. The technique
determines the commutation angles based on equilibrium points,
which are obtained by calculating the Centroid of the area
under the curve of the voltage sinusoidal function, within a time
interval defined by the method of equal areas. Hence, the power
inverter commutation angles are computed| directly from closedform
