| Abstract |
The goal of this paper is to present new concept of
control method of an AC chopper that enables to eliminate
inactive components from the load voltage (or current).
Principles of operation are illustrated on instance of line voltage
unbalance. It is assumed that the load is stationary. Pulsation of
instantaneous power is used as the feedback signal. The
chopper is controlled as an active filter, so only the basic
harmonics of the voltage is delivered to the load. The
mathematical model of analyzed AC line conditioning circuit is
established, its correctness is confirmed by PSpice simulation
tests. Moreover, stability of that closed loop control system
is examined. |
