 Abstract   This paper describes the implementation of scalar line to line voltages modulation (SLM) control system for matrix converters, using SIMULINK software package and a dSPACE module. The control scheme is characterized by a real time calculation of switch on/off intervals. To verify the validity of the proposed modulator, the output voltage waveforms generated by a low signal matrix converter are shown in association with theoretical synthesized waveforms.
