| Abstract |
Operation of line frequency thyristor converter with alternating parallel and series resonance in inverter mode with natural commutation is described. In case the converter operates in inverter mode only with the series resonance circuit or only with capacitive circuit the converter could be used both as single phase or three phase versions. The range of stable operation is described as well as the impact of dc side inductances to stable operation, also power factor and network current distortions. |
