| Abstract |
The miniaturization of transformers is one of the
interesting projects to obtain a space reduction of classical
circuits. Therefore it is necessary to investigate new concepts.
PCB-based transformers with FPC-layers (Ferrite Polymer
Compounds) as magnetic core have acceptable parameters and
provide the possibility of an ultra flat design. An optimisation of
these transformers under several parameters is possible based
on the presented calculation method. Additionally various
possibilities for the transformer design are presented and
compared to each other. Simulations and measurements are
used to verify the predicted results. |
