| Abstract |
The purpose of this paper is to emphasize the dynamic performance of VSC-HVDC
systems, based on equivalent continuous-time state-space models for rectifier and inverter actuators,
by using sliding modes control strategy. This present study is dealing with systems of high power
ratings up to 300 MW. It is shown that the required specifications are met and the designed controller
stabilizes short and long length DC cables as well. Simulation results are given. |
