Abstract |
This paper presents a new current controller of a
PWM shunt active power filter with a fuzzy logic band. The
proposed system adapts hysteresis band and choices switching
pattern according to fuzzy logic rules. The resulting controller
operates at nearly constant switching frequency ensuring
optimum switching pattern choice. To show the effectiveness of
proposed control its performance are compared with adaptive
and fixed band currant control.. Simulation results, made by
MATLAB/SIMULINK under several loads configurations, are
presented and discussed showing the effectiveness of fuzzy logic
controllers to optimize PWM technique and values of the passive
parameters of the active filter. |
