42v Hybrid Power Source For Automotive Applications

Abstract |
This paper will present a 42V hybrid power source for
automotive auxiliary on-board applications. For energy storage,
a pack of ultracapacitors is used in parallel with batteries. The
mathematical models of batteries and ultracapacitors will be
developed using MATLAB/SIMULINK®. An experimental 1 kW
power test bench has been designed, where the current and the
voltage are controlled by a microcontroller. Simulation results
and experimental tests will validate the proposed methodology. |
